The Elsie Room

Room Description

Named in honour of an amazing sailboat and even more amazing story, The Elsie was a sailboat designed by Alexander Graham Bell, built by local Baddeck workers, and given as a wedding gift to Alexander Graham Bell’s Daughter in 1917. Still sailing today after being refurbished and spending years as a sailing tour boat, the Elsie is still inspiring sailors and boat enthusiasts with her beauty and story.

Room Facilities

Your own private, 2 level lighthouse themed suite. Each unit has a full amenities small garage perfect for a couple of motorcycles/bikes/Kayaks/exotic car or just a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The 2nd level features a Queen bed with a hand painted headboard in an open concept room with high ceilings and our unique lighthouse views of the Bras d’Or Lake. A spacious kitchenette containing a small fridge/freezer, micro wave, induction burner and coffee pot along with a three piece ensuite with rain head shower.
